SWIMMING VICTORIA

METRO WEST DISTRICT

Metro West Swimming Victoria Incorporated is the governing district of competitive swimming in the western suburbs of metropolitan Melbourne. The district is currently comprised of seventeen club, located from the inner west through to the regional metropolitan areas of Melton & Wyndham. Metro West plays a key role in the development of swimmers in Melbourne's west and over the past fifty years has seen athletes go on to represent their clubs at State, National & International levels. Our premier event is the Metro West District Championships held annually in February. Our member clubs for Season 2018/19 are: Altona Swimming Club, Aqua Wolves Swimming Club, Artemis Aquatics, Brimbank Swimming Club, Essendon District Aquatic, Footscray Swimming & Water Polo Club, Hoppers Crossing Swimming Club, Hume City Swimming Club, Laverton Swimming Club, Melbourne University Propulsion, Melton Swimming Club, North-West Aquatic, Sunbury Amateur Swimming Club, Sunshine Swimming & Lifesaving Club, Swimland Swim Club, Western Aquatic Academy Swimming Team & Wyndham City Sharks Swimming Club.
